The Pointed Pen Academy
In 2025, Academy students have the chance to finesse their Copperplate and Spencerian scripts over 12 months, guided by two wonderful teachers - Cecilia Boschi and Martha Laurens.
In our 3-month academy courses, Heather Held and Hoang Dao will take you on the road to Copperplate, looking at the scripts that led the way: Italian Hand and Round Hand.

We bring exceptionally talented calligraphers to teach the art of pointed pen calligraphy.
From mastering the swells and turns of Copperplate to gaining confidence in your flourishing, we’ll provide teachers who can take your skills further.
